My love affair with Alberta Ferretti continues…though it’s rather one-sided and from afar. Her latest collection is soft and feminine and makes me want to abandon the edgier looks I’ve been sporting lately in favour of dressing like a lady again. I’m in need of some romance in my closet, in the form of delicate embroidery, beautifully-draped fabrics and muted earth tones. I think I’ve found my uniform for Spring 2011.

For Fall 2010, Miuccia Prada went back to basics and did what she does best, sending timeless, ladylike pieces down the runway. Love the use of ruffles and embellishments. xx, S
D&G does snow bunny chic! I’m loving the juxtaposition of heavy knits with lightweight sheer blouses and dresses. The fair isle prints are perfect, not cheesy. D&G’s been a little disappointing the past few seasons, so I’m happy to see they’re back on track with this fun and very wearable Fall 2010 collection.
