ALDO Rise‘s Spring 2012 collaborations are finally hitting stores. Footwear designs created specially for the Spring runway shows of J.W. Anderson, Mark Fast, Libertine and Preen have been produced for sale and will be available in ALDO stores beginning March 8. Between J.W. Anderson’s synthetic swan feathers and Libertine’s striped, colour-blocked heel, these aren’t your average ALDO shoes. Prices will range from $155 for most styles to $175 for the Preen ‘Giffee’ sandals.
I need a pair of the J.W. Anderson eyelet shoes in my life, either the ‘Eakins’ or the ‘Weatherbee’, and I’ve been waiting what seems like forever to get my hands on them. March 8 can’t come soon enough! That happens to be the same day the Marni for H&M capsule bows, and 2 days after Mary Katrantzou for Topshop launches in Canada finally. It’s going to be an expensive fun week of designer collaboration shopping adventures!

Ever since the ALDO x Flare wedge took over my shoe wardrobe last summer, ALDO‘s been back on my radar after a lengthy absence. And with a multitude of enticing designer collaborations for the Spring 2012 runway shows of Christian Cota, CUSHNIE ET OCHS, J.W. Anderson, Mark Fast, Libertine and Preen that will be produced and sold in boutiques next season, the footwear brand seems to be back for good.
The limited edition designs will be hitting ALDO stores March 8, but if that sounds like far too long of a wait, we’ve got fantastic news for you. Over on the other side of the pond, London-based department store Selfridges is hosting an ALDO RISE pop-up shop in store and online at Selfridges.com. (via TFS)
The collaborations with J.W. Anderson, Mark Fast, Libertine and Preen will be available during this pre-launch, on from January 16 to February 22. Priced from £125 to £135 (about USD$190-210 as of today), these designs are definitely not for the faint of heart, but if you’ve been searching for a shoe with synthetic swan feathers your whole life, here’s your chance.
As for me, I’ve got my eye on the J.W. Anderson ‘Weatherbee’ pumps pictured above. Whether I’ll be able to hold off until March 8, though, remains to be seen…

Back in October, Target announced that the retailer would be re-releasing 34 dresses from 17 past Go International collections just in time for Spring. Today, the question of which dresses would be included in the Designer Collective has finally been answered. All under $50 and available from March 13 to April 10, 2011, the collection will include designs from Luella Bartley, Tara Jarmon, Paul & Joe, Behnaz Sarafpour, Proenza Schouler, Libertine, Alice Temperley, Erin Fetherston, Jovovich-Hawk, Rogan, Richard Chai, Jonathan Saunders, Thakoon, Tracy Feith, Rodarte, Zac Posen and Tucker. I’m happy to get another shot at some of these pieces! The Proenza Schouler and Rodarte dresses (pictured above) are my picks – which are yours?

Being in Canada and far from a Target store, most of the Go International designer collections over the past few years have been sadly out of reach. Good news for people like me who’ve been in mourning over having missed Proenza Schouler, Erin Fetherston, Alice Temperley and the like – Target will be re-releasing 34 dresses from 17 past Go International collections on March 13, 2011!
Coined the Go International Designer Collective line, the collection will feature past designs from Luella Bartley, Tara Jarmon, Paul & Joe, Behnaz Sarafpour, Proenza Schouler, Libertine, Alice Temperley, Erin Fetherston, Jovovich-Hawk, Rogan, Richard Chai, Jonathan Saunders, Thakoon, Tracy Feith, Rodarte, Zac Posen, and Tucker. I managed to get my hands on a few Proenza Schouler and Rodarte pieces in the past, but I plan on taking full advantage of this second chance. Very excited for this!
