Stylin’ from the Backseat: Summer Leather

Leather shorts in 25 degree weather? Only a leather addict like yours truly. I know you’ve got one burning question for me: wasn’t your posterior uncomfortably sweaty? Indeed it was not. You’ll just have to take my word for it.

This Erdem blouse, by the way, is one of my most beloved items in my closet. It was a permanent fixture in my wardrobe rotation last summer, and I’m so happy to welcome it back. I’ll be wearing this blouse until it’s threadbare. Same goes for the sweaty leather shorts by Pink Tartan.

Stylin’ from the Backseat: The Cat’s Meow

On Day 4 of World Mastercard Fashion Week, I donned what was probably one of my more outrageous (to me!) getups, well, ever. And I kind of loved it. My day job isn’t particularly tutu-friendly, so I relish every opportunity my other gig as a fashion blogger affords me to dress up in my most office-inappropriate duds.

Gold tulle skirt? Check. Velvet cat shoes? Check. A giant fur collar? Check. All the ingredients to a rather outlandish outfit that was, actually, very me.

Coveting from the Backseat: LeiVanKash Olivia Rose Ring

All the way back in January, I posted a look from Olivia Palermo consisting of one very fabulous McQueen dress and Bottega clutch combination. At the time, I was so blown away by this pairing that I failed to notice a very special piece she was wearing on her hand, a hand-carved rose ring by LeiVanKash. The ring’s beauty wasn’t lost on Anya of I’m The It Girl though, because she bought one, and I’ve been coveting it from afar ever since.

I’ve yet to snag one of my own, but I’ve been wearing my YSL Arty ring to death lately and I think it’s time I throw another statement ring into the mix. LeiVanKash’s Olivia rose ring (named after Palermo, of course) is available online at Sophie’s Closet and Boticca. The $400+ rings come in gold, rose gold and oxidized black. Which colour to choose? Decisions, decisions…
