Leighton Meester looks downright stunning in the March 2011 issue of L’Officiel Lithuania, with the help of some impressive styling. This editorial shows just how much potential Meester has when she’s not dressed in over-the-top girly outfits on the small screen on Gossip Girl or in oddly mismatched and grungy outfits for her so-called musical performances off-screen. I’ve been hating on Leighton Meester the Singer’s style lately, so I thought I’d balance it out with some love, though I’m not sure which persona this look was for. I’m digging the black and white with an unexpected pop of bright red. I’ve had this photo saved for a little while now; I don’t completely get why, but I’m dying for the 3.1 Phillip Lim tank she’s wearing. It’s available at Nordstrom for $125 and I’ll be cyber-visiting it until it goes on sale.

…Queen B in a very scary outfit indeed. Love Blair Waldorf’s style on Gossip Girl and Leighton Meester the actress’ style, but Leighton the singer I’m not so sure about. This gem of an ensemble is from American Eagle’s Time Square flagship opening party. xx, S  |
