Stylin’ from the Backseat: Geared Up

Joseph military jacket / VAWK leather tank / Elise Overland leather pants / Balenciaga Work bag / ToodleBunny necklace / Chanel glasses / Make Up For Ever makeup

My Nikon D90 is a semi-permanent fixture hanging from my shoulder these days. Don’t be fooled though – my photo skills are self-taught and, therefore, rather non-existent. It annoys the heck out of the Mister that I hold down the button and take 3-5 frames, even when shooting inanimate, still objects. It frustrates me too that I have to edit hundreds of photos where only a fraction of them turn out to be post-worthy. I just haven’t had the time to take a photography course, so shoot me (pun attended).

But my Nikon sure helps me look the part of a professional photog…until you actually see my shots, that is.

Coveting from the Backseat: Joseph Fox Collar Wool Coat

This Intermix lookbook image made me swoon; I wish for my entire Fall wardrobe to be based on this photograph. The colour palette, the textures, the layering…I’m almost wishing for cooler weather. Almost.
I could never pull off an entire fur coat (ethical issues notwithstanding), but the fur collar on this Joseph wool menswear coat is just the right amount of glam for me. Sadly, the price of $1,840 is the wrong amount for my pocketbook…by quite a bit. *sigh*
