Gossip Girl fans rejoice! LA-based contemporary label Romeo & Juliet Couture has partnered with Warner Bros. to produce a collection inspired by the series’ characters, including favourites Serena van der Woodsen and Blair Waldorf. The collection will hit sales floors at Kitson, Neiman Marcus and Saks Fifth Avenue in time for Gossip Girl’s season five premiere on September 26.
The Fall collection features embellished tops, bottoms, novelty sweaters, outerwear and draped chiffon dresses, retailing between $80 to $200. The line will also expand into handbags and accessories for Spring. (via WWD)
So far, the Chevron print poncho top (pictured above) is a bit too Vanessa Abrams, while the rest isn’t screaming Gossip Girl to me. Here’s hoping we see more of Serena’s glamour and Blair’s chic sophistication in the line.
