Prabal Gurung for Target? Yes please! Target has announced its latest designer collaboration with none other than New York-based designer Prabal Gurung, who was recently worn by Duchess Kate. If he’s good enough for Kate, he’s certainly good enough for me – especially at Target price points!
The 80-piece Target x Prabal Gurung collection will include ladies’ apparel and accessories priced from $19.99 for a t-shirt to $199.99 for a leather jacket. There’s only one image to go on so far, but the colourfully printed pieces look downright lovely. The line-up will hit Target stores and target.com on February 10, 2012 and will be available through to March 23, 2013.
My calendar is officially marked and I’m already really, really excited. You?

Neiman Marcus, Target and the CFDA announced a rather unexpected but definitely very intriguing holiday collaboration this past July, and now the 50-plus piece collection of men’s, women’s, home and children’s gift items has been revealed.
The offerings were designed by 24 CFDA designers, including: Alice + Olivia, Altuzarra, Band of Outsiders, Brian Atwood, Carolina Herrera, Derek Lam, Diane von Furstenberg, Eddie Borgo, Jason Wu, Judith Leiber, Lela Rose, Marchesa, Marc Jacobs, Oscar de la Renta, Philip Crangi, Prabal Gurung, Proenza Schouler, Rag & Bone, Robert Rodriguez, Rodarte, Skaist-Taylor, Thom Browne, Tory Burch and Tracy Reese.
The collection includes everything from Rodarte wrapping paper for $7.99 to Alice + Olivia bicycle for $499.99. I’m thinking a quick shopping jaunt south of the border might be required so I can get my hands on a Prabal Gurung bow cape ($79.99) for me, an Eddie Borgo letter opener ($34.99) for the Mister, and a Jason Wu polka dot dress ($59.99) for the daughter I’ve yet to have.
Mark your calendars – the collection will be available in both Neiman Marcus and Target stores and e-commerce sites (neimanmarcus.com ships to Canada!) starting December 1, and is sure to sell out in a flash. Check out the gallery below for the complete collection. What’s on your wish list?

The official Maison Martin Margiela for H&M lookbook has been released!
Rejoice, MMM fans, because the collection doesn’t disappoint. Far from it, in fact. The 104-piece line-up of women’s and men’s apparel, footwear and accessories is a reissue of iconic designs from the Margiela archives, but at pocketbook-friendly H&M price points. It can’t get much better than that, am I right?
Each piece will be accompanied by a tag indicating the collection to which the original runway design belonged, in case you’re a little rusty on your Margiela history. So far, I’ve got my eye on the fitted, high-neck blazer, the oversized turtleneck sweater, and perhaps even a pair of knee-high boots for good measure. What’s on your wish list?
Margiela for H&M will launch in around 230 H&M stores worldwide and online at hm.com on November 15, 2012 – one short month away! I’ll most definitely be joining the line outside our local H&M for this collaboration, and I suspect I’ll see you all there as well. In the meantime, check out the ad campaign, in case you missed it last week. And stay tuned for more details!

And as if right on cue, feast your eyes on the ad campaign images, as well as scans from a feature in ELLE China‘s November 2012 issue, that have popped up.
Combine these photos with that image of a little red dress we posted back in August and the line-up is looking downright epic. Margiela x H&M will be available in around 230 H&M stores worldwide and online at hm.com on November 15, 2012. Why pretend otherwise: see you in line!

As we wait patiently for news of the official launch date for the FLARE Magazine x ALDO Shoes Fall 2012 collaboration, here’s a look at the oxblood shooties in action, on none other than the designer herself, FLARE Fashion Director Liz Cabral. Over the last few days, these to-die-for shoes have been featured on Style.com, the New York Times Sunday Styles and, of course, on You Just Got Spotted.
The FLARE x ALDO collaboration will be available in October (see the complete collection), though the exact launch date is still a mystery. How much longer until we can get our hands on a pair too, Liz?

Enough with the sneak peeks; we’ve finally got our hands on the complete lookbook for the Anna Dello Russo for H&M accessories collection! Featuring almost 50 pieces of jewelry, bags, shoes, sunglasses and luggage, the collaboration is everything we love about ADR. Meaning: it’s completely outrageous and over-the-top.
“Accessories are like vitamins to fashion — as such, you should use them liberally,” advises Dello Russo. And now we can, at affordable price points. The ADR x H&M collection retails from US$24.95 for earrings to US$59.95 for a turquoise clutch to US$299 for over-the-knee leather boots.
Anna Dello Russo for H&M launches in about 140 H&M stores worldwide and online on October 4. We’re sure your calendars have been marked since the collection was first announced in May, and now you can finally make your wish list! I’m coveting a few of the bracelets and cuffs myself. Which pieces will you be lining up at your local H&M store for on October 4?

News of freshly-hatched collaborations arrive in my inbox weekly it seems, but I have never been as excited as I am for the one announced today: Charlotte Olympia x Olympia Le-Tan. Charlotte Olympia is my favourite shoe designer right now, hands down. Olympia Le-Tan currently has no presence in my closet, but I’ve been waiting patiently for the book clutch designer to choose a book cover that would have special meaning to me. It took teaming up with Charlotte Dellal, but it’s finally happened.
The two designers have created a limited edition mini collection inspired by my most beloved childhood book and one that I’ve been reading to my son of late, E. B. White’s Charlotte’s Web. In addition to an embroidered book clutch, Charlotte Olympia’s signature ‘Dolly’ shoe has been produced with Charlotte’s Web-themed inscriptions like ‘Terrific’ and ‘Radiant’ and dubbed the ‘Miracle Dolly’. My 6-year old self is overjoyed and, quite frankly, so is the slightly older present-day version.
The designs will be sold exclusively at the Charlotte Olympia boutiques in New York and London on Fashion’s Night Out on September 6, with 10% of the proceeds being donated to FNO’s official charity, Refuge. I won’t be anywhere near either of those cities, but I will find a way to get my hands on my very own Charlotte’s Web book clutch if it’s the last thing I do!

Back in July, FLARE‘s fashion director Liz Cabral announced that she had teamed up with ALDO Shoes a second time for a Fall 2012 limited edition offering. Naturally, I did a celebratory dance in my beloved snakeskin wedges from the first collaboration. I’ve been waiting patiently for more information ever since, and we’ve finally got some via FLARE’s October 2012 issue.
Get ready to shop not one, but two pairs of shoes designed by Cabral and the ALDO team…and handbags too! All with price tags under $200, the mini collection features a lace stiletto bootie ($175) and an oxblood shootie ($155). Trying to pick just one will be futile: one of each, please!
No word yet on when the second FLARE x ALDO collection will be available, but when it finally launches it’ll be sure to sell out fast. In the meantime, stay tuned for more details!
UPDATE #1:
The complete FLARE x ALDO Fall 2012 collection has now officially been revealed! In addition to the highly covetable lace stiletto bootie and oxblood shootie we gave you a sneak peek of earlier this week, the collection also features a faux croc bag that comes in two bold colours, blue and red, and will retail for a very reasonable $70.
“I’m confident the oxblood shoe will turn up on the street-style blogs, while the black lace pair should prove a hit on the holiday party circuit”, says Cabral, with which I wholeheartedly agree. “As for the bag? At first, Aldo was planning on producing only one colour. But after lots of debate on the merits of red versus blue, they decide on both!”
Having a tough time deciding yourself? Don’t fret – the affordable price tags mean you can buy the entire collection for under $500 before taxes and you have until October to save up. The official launch date is yet to be confirmed though, so watch this space!
UPDATE #2:
As of October 5, the collection is now finally (woohoo!) available in limited quantities at the following locations:
Montreal – Eaton Centre
Toronto – 50 Bloor Street West
Toronto – Yorkdale Shopping Centre
Vancouver – 1025 Robson Street
Calgary – Chinook Centre
In other words, GO, GO, GO!!!

Yesterday we showed you a first look at Margiela for H&M, and today we’ve got even more H&M designer collaboration images for you! Thanks to the September issues of Vogue Russia and Vogue Spain, we get our first sneak peeks at Anna Dello Russo’s accessories collaboration with the fast fashion retailer since it was announced back in May.
Sure, ADR was spotted sporting some of her H&M pieces during Paris couture week, but these magazine pages are filled to the brim with the statement jewelry, sunglasses, clutches, shoes and even luggage that the Vogue Nippon Editor-at-Large and street style icon designed. They’re in high res too, so click away in order to see that ornate turquoise suitcase, those zebra bangles and those crocodile-adorned sunglasses up close and personal.
Let me guess, your ADR for H&M wish list just got that much longer, didn’t it? Not to worry – I’m right there with you! The collection will be available in around 140 H&M stores worldwide as well as online at hm.com on October 4.
