We weren’t expecting to get a first look at Target‘s upcoming high-low collaboration with London-based label Peter Pilotto any time soon, but the discount retailer has released a single image via Elle.com, and it’s looking rather promising. Bold prints and silhouettes are key features of design duo Christopher De Vos and Peter Pilotto’s aesthetic, and that’s exactly what they’re serving up for Target customers.
“Even if it’s a cheaper price point, it was mutually agreed with Target that the collection had to look very Peter Pilotto,” De Vos says, and so far it does. Floral and geometric graphics are printed on tops, bottoms and even shoes. From left: Stretch-nylon swim top, $25; cotton, nylon, and spandex skirt, $35; cotton and nylon slip-on sneakers, $30 a pair; spandex-blend romper, $50; spandex-blend racer-back tank, $25; and skirt, $35.
The collection launches in stores and online on February 9, 2014, and we can’t wait to see the rest of the line-up. Are you loving what you’re seeing so far?

Pink Tartan Creative Director Kimberley Newport-Mimran has teamed up with Keurig to create a limited edition collectable cup, just in time for the holiday season. In our excitement, we already instagrammed our pretty new mug yesterday, but it really deserves a blog post all its own.
The cup features a stylish sketch of the designer herself walking her dog. “Life is about finding beauty and inspiration every day, a walk with Max, morning coffee, a deep breath,” said Newport-Mimran. “The opportunity to work with the Keurig brand to create a fashion-inspired cup to savour your morning, that gives back to the community in a meaningful way really resonates with me as a designer.”
100% of the profits from the sale of the cup will be donated to the Toronto East General Hospital Foundation. Snag one (or two or three!) of these chic stocking stuffers with a cause over at keurig.ca for $19.99.

So Isabel Marant for H&M has come and gone, and you’re in search of a new high-low collaboration to obsess about and we’ve got the answer: L’Wren Scott for Banana Republic. We cheered when we heard word of the holiday capsule earlier this year, and now we have the complete lookbook, with all 50+ pieces, for your viewing pleasure.
The American designer has created an incredibly chic line-up of party-ready apparel and accessories, and we can’t wait to shop it. Tailored jackets, embellished cardigans, cocktail dresses, clutches, and even pajama sets – L’Wren Scott and Banana Republic have our holiday dressing covered. At the very top of our wish list are the emerald jacquard shift dress (stunning!), the black brocade and magenta peony skinny jeans (obviously we need both pairs in our lives), and the black velvet bow back jacket (because we’ve never met a velvet jacket we didn’t like).
Retailing between $39.50 and $198, the L’Wren Scott for Banana Republic collection will be available in selected stores as well as online starting December 5. Give the gallery below a gander for a look at every single piece of the capsule. Which do you plan to rock this holiday season?

Kate Moss for Topshop Fall 2010
Here’s a fashionable blast from the past: Topshop and Kate Moss are teaming up for a capsule collection for Spring 2014! It’s been over 3 years since Kate’s last design effort for the high street retailer, and though it’s uncertain as to whether this is a one-off or longer term partnership, we die-hard Kate (and Topshop!) fans will take what we can get.
The supermodel said in a press release, “I have really missed being involved in the design process, and working with the team at Topshop. I am very excited to create a new collection that bears my name. Now more than ever with London being at the forefront of fashion as it feels like I’m back home working with Topshop”.
Kate’s latest offering, created in collaboration with Topshop creative director Kate Phelan and stylist Katy England, will feature 40 styles, including women’s apparel, accessories and shoes. The collection will launch in Topshop stores in 40 countries as well as on topshop.com in April 2014.
We simply cannot wait. Kate’s previous 14 collections for the brand were inspired by her own personal style, and included numerous memorable pieces, like the feather cape pictured above. Stay tuned for the Spring 2014 lookbook in the coming months. In the meantime, be really, really excited. We know we are.

Peter Pilotto Spring 2012 finale
A mere day after the successful launch of its collaboration with 3.1 Phillip Lim, Target announced its next designer partnership for Spring 2014. This time, the discount department store chain is teaming up with the design duo behind London-based label Peter Pilotto.
Known for their inventive use of prints and artful silhouettes, Peter Pilotto and Christopher De Vos have created a collection of almost 70 items to be sold exclusively at Target stores, Target.com and, for the first time, Net-a-porter.com. The line-up of women’s clothing, accessories and swimwear is due to hit stores on February 9, 2014, and we highly suggest you mark your calendars now. February may sound like a way’s away, but we have a feeling you’ll be needing the recovery time after the recent 3.1 Phillip Lim x Target adventures.
Check out the video below for the shortest of sneak peeks of Peter Pilotto for Target. Are you excited?
When J.Crew announced a few days ago a collaboration with shoe designer Sophia Webster for Spring 2014, we did a happy dance or four. Two of our favourite things in life, being J.Crew and shoes (obviously), plus Nicholas Kirkwood’s very worthy protégé in the mix too? A recipe for heart-stopping footwear for sure we thought, and boy were we right. We got our first peek at J.Crew’s shoe offerings for spring via the retailer’s NYFW presentation yesterday, and it’s everything we dreamed it would be and then some.
Included in the 30-look line-up are 12 styles designed with Webster, infusing her most popular styles with that unmistakeable J.Crew aesthetic we all know and love. ““The collection is really fun and feminine, very me but still a hybrid of the two brands,” says Webster. Executive Creative Director Jenna Lyons added, “Sophia Webster is one of the most exciting and talented British designers. Her shoes are like miniature sets–a beautiful world for your feet to spend the day in.”
Based on what we’re seeing so far, we can’t wait to dive into the Sophia Webster for J.Crew collaboration feet first next spring. Get a closer look at the J.Crew Spring 2014 shoe line-up in the gallery below, including a peek at what should be most of the insanely gorgeous Webster designs.

With a slew of brand collaborations already announced for fall, we thought our budgets for the new season were already more than fully allotted. That is, until the latest was unveiled this week: a Hudson’s Bay Company and Converse mash-up of striped Jack Purcell sneakers. Yes. Please. These babies are destined for the iconic status of the classic HBC striped pea coats, and we definitely need to get our hands on a pair or two, stat.
Available in the unisex Jack Purcell, Duck Boot and women’s Helen styles and priced from $120-140, the Hudson’s Bay Company x Converse Jack Purcell collection will launch exclusively at Hudson’s Bay stores on September 1. Will you be sporting a pair this fall?

Fashion meets function in J.Crew‘s latest collaboration with Montreal-based accessories label WANT Les Essentiels de la Vie.
The two brands have teamed up to create a day-to-night handbag that converts from a sleek cotton and leather tote for the office to an oversized leather clutch for after-work drinks. Dubbed the “Two-Way Tote”, the design is available in two colours, navy and dusty dune, and two sizes, medium and large. It doesn’t get much more convenient than that. As for the price tag of this 2-in-1 bag? A very reasonable USD$298 or USD$398.
The capsule collection launched earlier this week in select J.Crew locations and online at jcrew.com today.
