Stuart Weitzman Teams Up With Chloe Moretz, Brooklyn Decker on Second Young Hollywood Cares Collection

Stuart Weitzman has collaborated with five young celebrities on his second Young Hollywood Cares collection to benefit ovarian cancer research. The footwear designer co-designed exclusive styles with actresses Chloe Moretz, Julianne Hough, AnnaSofia Robb, Brooklyn Decker and Nikki Reed.

Retailing from $375 to $425, the collection features a black pony hair pump with magenta trim from Robb, a buckled bootie with metallic cap-toe from Decker, a textured black pump with burgundy platform and ankle strap from Reed, a patent leather lace-up bootie from Hough, and my favourite of the group, a tan and navy animal-print embossed brogue from Moretz.

The Young Hollywood Cares collection will be available at Stuart Weitzman flagship stores in New York, Beverly Hills and Boston, as well as online at stuartweitzman.com, starting next week. I think I need those incredible Weitzman x Moretz brogues in my life, and the fact that the purchase will benefit a good cause is like the bow on my shoe box.

Coveting from the Backseat: McQ Alexander McQueen Fall 2012 by Sarah Burton

Chloë Moretz in McQ Fall 2012

I’ve been a longtime fan of McQ, and now that Alexander McQueen‘s creative director Sarah Burton has taken over the creative reins, the diffusion line has become even more covetable than ever before. Burton’s first collection for McQ is for Fall 2012, but 12 must-have pieces are already available for pre-order exclusively at Net-a-porter starting today – check out the gallery below.

I’m dying to get my hands on the broderie anglaise velvet bell dress and Black Watch plaid coat, but with the two pieces alone ringing up at an astounding $13,315, sadly it will never be. It seems that not only does Burton bring with her the unmistakable Alexander McQueen aesthetic, but also price tags that are significantly heftier than McQ fans have been paying until now.

McQ has now moved out of my snack bracket, unfortunately, and I’m rather devastated. If the price points of $765 to $12,030 don’t faze you though, go ahead and place your pre-order over here so I can live vicariously through you, please and thank you.

Admiring from the Backseat: Chloë Moretz in Jason Wu for Target

Counting down the days until Jason Wu for Target hits stores? The February 5 launch date is almost here, but in the meantime, let’s take a moment to be jealous of those lucky few who have already gotten their hands on the collection. Exhibit A: actress Chloë Moretz and her straight-out-of-the-lookbook ensemble from last night’s launch party in New York.

This 14-year old has proven to have some serious style cred. The ladylike bow blouse and pleated skirt Chloë donned are my favourite pieces in the collection. Even the lovely matching sandals, by Gianvito Rossi, are right up my bow-loving alley. I may be double her age, but I might just need Chloë’s look, from head to toe.

What’s on your Jason Wu for Target wish list? Click on over to the complete lookbook here to make your list and check it twice.
