J.Crew’s Fall 2012 Campaign Stars Julia Sarr-Jamois, Caroline Issa and Other Industry Insiders

Everything J.Crew is selling these days, I’m buying. I have a healthy addiction to their jewelry, silk blouses and no. 2 pencil skirts happening right now, and it looks like it’ll continue into the fall. The retailer tapped street style stars Julia Sarr-Jamois, fashion editor for Wonderland, and Caroline Issa, executive fashion director for Tank Magazine, among other well-known faces from the fashion industry, for its fall 2012 campaign.

Missoni for Target Capsule Collection – Sneak Peek!

Earlier this month, news broke of Target’s Fall 2011 collaboration with Missoni, and ever since then Target’s been working overtime to keep any further details, including photos from the preview, under wraps. Finally, though, photos from the collection’s campaign shoot in Milan, featuring Margherita Maccapani Missoni, have been leaked. We knew it would happen sooner or later – this isn’t the royal wedding dress or Tom Ford, after all – and we’re incredibly excited about what we see!

No sign yet of the $599.99 patio set we’re dying to see, but we spot Missoni’s signature zigzag colourful stripes on several pieces of womenswear, menswear, scarves, shoes, luggage, stationary, a cellphone case and even bicycles! So far I have my eye on the men’s cardigans and tie for the Mister.

The collection will be available in stores and online from September 13 to October 22, 2011. What do you think of it so far?

Charlotte Olympia Spring 2011 Collection

Ever since getting a sneak preview of Charlotte Olympia‘s Spring 2011 collection at The Room at the Bay’s The Next British Invasion event in October, I’ve been waiting ever so patiently for the shoes to hit the sales floors. Well, the time has finally come and I’m dying to acquire my very first pair of Olympias. Between the fruit-themed “Banana is my Business”, the leopard Bebels and the snakeskin Dollys, I’d be in platform shoe heaven if I managed to snag any of these fabulous shoes.

Are you drooling over the sky-high stiletto heels and exaggerated platforms too, or do you prefer to stay grounded?
