It is said that visualization is key in transforming a wish into reality. This week’s best dressed made it no secret what it is that stands at the top of their wish list: a tropical paradise!
Samantha’s sublime outfit encompasses all the ingredients for the perfect summer getaway: colossal palm trees, blue skies, and rock climbing rope for the purpose of fashion, not exercise. The spectacular two-toned ‘do makes me think of some of my favourite things, such as layered drinks, sunsets, and flamingoes.
Nelia and Rana both wore stunning pieces featuring nostalgic beach scenes from the Prada Spring 2010 RTW collection. I love that Nelia wore her beach print dress to the beach – so jealous! Rana went for a decidedly harder look, what I would call tropical paradise-meets-concrete-jungle.
Mélanie’s outfit doesn’t explicitly follow the tropical theme, but the medley of brilliant colours does remind me of coral reefs…
I think I might need a vacation, too.
