Hola señoras y señores from Club Med Ixtapa Pacific in Mexico, where I’ve been soaking in some much needed rays on the beach and clocking lots of poolside hours this week. It’s been hot, hot, hot, but hammocks, umbrella drinks, a stack of fashion magazines and the occasional massage by the ocean have been keeping me too occupied to notice the sweltering heat too much. Tough life, I know.
Though I’ve been on vacation, I still snapped a few photos of an outfit, because I’m just that dedicated and/or vain. Either way, this Diane Von Furstenberg dress has been about the fanciest I’ve gotten all week, and I haven’t minded the sartorial break one bit. With the temperature as hot as it’s been and the promise of anonymity in such a faraway land, my fellow resort mates and I have been wearing as little as possible. Those skimpy ensembles aren’t appropriate for public consumption though, so you get me and my best puffed sleeve dress (Anne of Green Gables, anyone?) instead.
