When it comes to sweaters, I’d say the chunkier, the better, and it doesn’t get much chunkier than this 3.1 Phillip Lim find I snagged a few seasons ago. 3D cable knit is what the designer dubbed it, and the effect is rather eye-catching.
Even my 3-year old is a fan. “I like your sweater, mummy,” he told me with an admiring look this past weekend. “When I’m big, I’m going to wear it, OK?” At least he asked – that’s more than I get from T sometimes. I kid, I kid.

You look so good in these photos! That 3.1 knit is just simply divine. Still lovin’ the bangs on you Sharon!
Thanks Alexis! I think I’m going to be keeping these bangs for a while.
Very cool, unique looking sweater and it goes very well with the heels and jeans.
Thanks Iris! It took me a few tries to figure out how to style this sweater.
Love the Philip Lim 3D Knit sweater, it is chunky (which is so in this season), but not overpowering of your frame.

Thanks Vee! That Phillip Lim sure knows what’s he’s doing.
What an amazing cable knit sweater – I’ve never seen anything like it!

I hadn’t either! That’s why I love it so much.
Amazing! You look great Sharon – can’t believe you’re out in the snow with heels and no coat LOL!
Ha! It was a very quick shoot. Thanks Elaine!
Absolutely love everything about this look! That sweater is beyond perfection. And with that bag and those shoes… swoon!
I got a swoon! Thanks Erin.
I’ve been a silent reader since 2009 but I’m finally coming out of the woodwork to comment that this is an absolutely fabulous outfit. The sweater is definitely the center-piece. So brave of you to go sleeveless in the cold, too!
