Ever since a Holt Renfrew sales associate put the Maryam Keyhani Spring 2012 lookbook in my hands, I’ve had the Canadian designer’s statement necklaces on the brain. The only way to shake the obsession, I’ve concluded, is just to give in to it. Unfortunately, my efforts have been stalled by what the Mister refers to as analysis paralysis over the past month; I haven’t been able to decide which of the intricate, hand-crafted designs in the collection to make my first Keyhani piece.
Until last night. I was finally able to locate the stunning ‘Mademoiselle Riverie’ necklace I’ve been especially enamoured with, and I’m just about ready to take the leap. Just one more flip through that lookbook before I hand over my credit card number…
