Canadian fashionistas will have heard by now that Jeanne Beker recently launched EDIT, a tightly-edited collection of 25 Fall must-haves carried exclusively at 65 the Bay locations across Canada. I’ve been meaning to check the pieces out since they launched last month and finally had the chance to recently. It’s no surprise that given my ongoing obsession with capes and a desire to add camel, the colour of the season, to my wardrobe, this camel draped cape coat ($195) caught my eye.
It’s warm, it’s chic, and if Canadian fashion heroine Jeanne Beker says I need it, who am I to question her?

It’s definitely worth the trip to the Queen Street store! Not just for EDIT, actually, but for all the other amazing lines the Bay’s brought in recently.

Ah I checked this collection out the DAY it came out looking for that camel cape. My size was all sold out and I was discouraged. :[ I left my number with the sales associate so they can give me a call when they get another shipment in, but somehow I don’t think they will call…
sigh.. it wasn’t meant to be!

First of all, congrats on the redesign and new domain! Love it
And yeah…I loved that cape at the preview, and wish I did get it when it was available…I am afraid it might be too cold too soon, and my priorities shift towards a warmer coat…we’ll see.
