Spring has finally arrived in Toronto! With the sun out and temperatures much warmer than they were just last week, I’m sure no one but an outerwear addict like me would be interested in winter coats right about now. Even so, I can’t help but post photos from Lundström Collection’s Fall 2011 show at LG Fashion Week – there were too many chic options for next Fall for me not to share.
From red tweed to purple boucle wool to shaggy ivory fur, the collection showcased Lundström’s interpretation of timeless winter outerwear pieces. Though not as glamourous or edgy as some of the other coats we saw that week, the designs were classic, with well-placed, on-trend details and modern styling. There were no overdone fur collars or leather inserts on the Lundström runway; these are the types of coats you buy and wear for a long time to come, without ever looking outdated. Well, unless you insist on donning one of those big Russian fur hats too!
