The Joe Fresh show is always one of the most popular at Toronto Fashion Week, and for good reason. Joe Mimran never disappoints with his high in style, low in cost line of clothes and accessories that are carried at your local Loblaws or, more recently, at the newly-opened Joe Fresh standalone stores.
Inspired by its upcoming collaboration with Scouts Canada on new scouts uniforms, the Spring 2011 collection was yet another hit. The scouts theme melded well with current trends; Joe Mimran churned out everything from a chic olive trench to button-downs with scout patches, and summery white day dresses to green sequin shorts.
My wish list was a mile long by the end of the show, but what was fun about watching this – and any Joe Fresh show for that matter – is the knowledge that you can afford all that you covet…and still have money left over for groceries.
