Back in October, we unveiled a sneak peek of Mary Katrantzou’s latest capsule collection for Topshop that left us wanting more, more, more. Today, the fast fashion retailer finally released the complete lookbook of the Spring 2012 collaboration, and it’s every bit as incredible as we’d hoped and expected.
The 10-piece collection features dresses and separates in the British designer’s signature vibrant prints. The designs are very close to the aesthetic of her eponymous line, with pricing at a much more accessible price range of £40 to £350, or $75 to $630 in Canada.
“My idea behind the collaboration was to design for the Topshop girl a range that is as close to the aesthetic of my mainline as possible, with great control over the quality of design and production,” said Katrantzou. “I can’t wait to see the Topshop girls in the bowl dresses and for the most daring to see them try the print on print layering!”
The collection launches in Topshop stores on February 17. In Canada, it will be available March 6 at the Topshop location at the Bay at Yorkdale Shopping Centre. I’m dying to get my hands on something, anything, from this collaboration. Perhaps a gorgeous Mary Katrantzou for Topshop dress is in order. What’s on your wish list?
