If you’re still trying to get over having missed out on the Missoni for Target collection, as many of us are, this piece of news should help you move on: the next designer to collaborate with Target is confirmed to be Jason Wu!
The collection, which will hit stores and online February 5, 2012, will feature “clothes and accessories that are easily convertible from day to evening — sophisticated, feminine dresses, mix-and-match separates and playful accessories all with a bit of charm and dressed-up attitude,” said Wu.
Price tags will range from $20 to $60 – rather reasonable prices to pay to get your hands on designs from the man who’s dressed the likes of Michelle Obama and Diane Kruger. ”My collection for Target embodies my signature aesthetic of feminine sophistication, with a mischievous nod to the 1960s,” Wu noted. “I’ve had an incredible experience partnering with Target, and I am looking forward to bringing these affordable designs to women across the country.”
Based on the one sketch alone, I’m already incredibly excited for this collaboration. Are you? Watch the preview video here to decide.
