The December 2010 issue of Vogue includes an editorial that features the first full-length photos of some of the looks from Tom Ford’s highly-anticipated Spring 2011 womenswear collection – the inaugural womenswear collection for his eponymous line and his first foray into womenswear in 6 years. Back in September, Ford held a very exclusive presentation, but banned photos, so all the public at large has seen of the collection until now has been these headshots.
We all missed Ford terribly during his absence and were envious of his menswear designs, and now we’re reminded of precisely why. The pieces featured in the Vogue editorial are every bit as fabulous as I’d imagined they would be…and then some. Definitely worth the wait!
