Admiring from the Backseat: Olivia Palermo

It’s no secret that I’m a big fan of Olivia Palermo’s style. I’ve featured her more often than any other celebrity – a fact that I only just realized this very moment, but am not (too) ashamed to admit. Like her small screen “character” or not, there’s no denying that when Olivia gets it right, the sartorial results are out of this world. This ensemble from the HauteMuse Magazine and Matches Fashion event earlier this week tops any other outfit of hers I’ve ever posted.

The Alexander McQueen Koi dress alone is breathtakingly beautiful, but Olivia makes the look entirely her own by styling it rather unexpectedly with Elizabeth and James Lizzy booties, a Bottega Veneta knot clutch, and statement jewelry adorning her hands for that little extra oomph. I’d pick another pair of shoes myself, but when you’re wearing McQueen, who’s really looking at your feet anyway? I forgive the shoe choice – this is still an 11 out of 10 in my books.

Dying for Olivia’s look? Find the dress, shoes and clutch at Farfetch, Piperlime and Net-a-porter respectively.
