Everyone has their own quirky style rules, and Mr. Backseat Styler has always had one that I disagree with – that black and blue should not be worn together. To him, black and blue is as offensive as pink and red is to some. Well, Mr. BSS, it seems I have evidence to the contrary. Or rather, January Jones does, because she looked absolutely fabulous in a black and navy ensemble last week at the Louis Vuitton and Vanity Fair cocktail party in Beverly Hills. The look was perfection from head to toe and the colour palette incredibly chic. I’m now dying for a pair of navy high-waisted pants – anyone else?
xx, S

Chic pants. I recently got a couple pairs of high waisted pants so I can't wait to wear them once school starts up.

In complete agreement with you; J. Jones looks ravishing, and I am envying her lovely blue trousers, too. But I myself am dying for her top. Perfect cut outs.

Oops. I put black and blue together a lot.. bright blue and black, that is.. Does he mean navy? In that case, I know a lot of ppl who are "against" the idea.
I love January's style… I wish I could look as put together as she is. Thanks for visiting my blog! I love yours!
